atha bhāratīyabhāṣāyāṃ citralakṣaṇam | prathamaḥ parivarttaḥ brahmāṇaṃ ca mahādevaṃ nārāyaṇaṃ sarasvatīm varadāṃ ca mayā natvā kriyate jayamaṃgalam // prajāpatestathā śambhoḥ padmāsyāyāstathā giram pārvatyā anusṛtyaiva jāyatāṃ kila paṇḍitāḥ // tadanantaraṃ citralakṣaṇamucyate | maṃgalamastu | mahādevāya devāya sarvavidyavijānate namo namo mayā samyag ucyate citralakṣaṇam // ādau candramasaṃ vande haraṃ ca candraśekharaṃ viṣṇvindrau sūryamagniṃ ca varuṇaṃ marutaṃ tathā // namaskaromyahaṃ caiva viśvakarmaprajāpatī nagnajitaṃ namaskṛtya tvācāryāṃśca punaḥ punaḥ // varṇaṃ ca citrakarmātha śāstrānusāratastathā yathājñānaṃ yathāśakti saṃkṣepeṇa mayocyate // viśvakṛnnagnajiddeva prahlādasāramujjvalam lakṣaṇamanusṛtyaica viduṣāṃ sudhiyāṃ punaḥ // saṃgṛhya mativṛddhaye nānāśāstrasamuddhṛtam ucyate citralakṣaṇaṃ śṛṇvantu tadvidā janāḥ // puredaṃ lakṣaṇaṃ śrutvā nararājo mahodharaḥ dharmajñaḥ satyaniṣṭhaśca buddhimāṃśca yaśo'nvitaḥ viśruto bhayajinnāmnā tathābhūt dharaṇītale // guṇottamasya bhūpasya dhārmikasya praśāsane śatasahasravarṣāṇi cāyuḥ prajāḥ prapedire // nīrogā na ca hantāro manorogavivarjitāḥ akālamṛtyuhīnāstāḥ kutaḥ krodhāḥ kuto malāḥ // vāyuḥ supravahaścaiva śakraḥ suvarṣakastathā varṇarasasametāni vījamūlaphalāni ca // varṇāśramā hi catvāro na cyutā dharmatatparāḥ ṛddhiguṇasamāyuktaṃ śrīmad vikasitaṃ jagat // evambhūte sthite rāṣṭre sukhaśāntisamanvite bhayajito manaḥ śuddhaṃ pravṛttaṃ tapasi drutam // suduṣkaraṃ tapaḥ kṛtvā rājñātiśuddhacetasā varā bahuvidhā prāptā devāllokapitāmahāt // viṣayastasya śatrubhir devāstrairapi durjayaḥ uttamāpratirodhyā ca sarvaśāstre matistvatha // sarvaguṇairupetasya parākrāntasya dhīmataḥ mahābhāgasya devānāṃ prabhāvaiḥ prāptaviśruteḥ // sarvavidyāśrayasyāsya mūrttadharmasya bodhinaḥ maṇiputrasamākhyaspa etādṛśasya bhūpateḥ // savidhe tvāgataḥ kaścid rudan vipro 'tiduḥkhitaḥ kathaṃ rodiṣi bho vipra cetyapṛcchad dvijaṃ nṛpaḥ // kruddhena tena vipreṇa kathito nṛpatistadā tava śāsanakāle 'smin deśe 'kālamṛtiyataḥ // tato 'dharmeṇa rājyaṃ taṃ śāssīdaṃ nṛpa niścitam viṣmayo ya itaḥ pūrvaṃ na jāto 'sau pravartate // madīyavaṃśarakṣākṛt lakṣaṇākṛtisundaraḥ akālamṛtyunā kasmāt kroṛato 'pahṛtaḥ sutaḥ // bramha priyau hi rājan tvaṃ sarva jānāsi bhūtale prāṇatulyaṃ sutaṃ mahyaṃ dehi svāmin kṛpānvitaḥ // dayāṃ yadi na kuryāstvaṃ śaktiman guṇavan nṛpa tṛṇakhaṇḍāṇiva prāṇān tvatsavidhe tyajāmyaham // bhāṣite tu dvijenaivaṃ buddhimān puraṣottamaḥ ākarṣaṇe sutaṃ tasya matiṃ cakre nṛpālakaḥ // sāntvitastu nṛvākyena "āgaccha mama dāsa hi" sūryavarcodharaṃ yamam uditaṃ tatra dṛṣṭavān // dharmarājaṃ jagadbandyaṃ praṇamya bhayajinnṛpaḥ brāhmaṇasya hitārthāya sādaraṃ vākyamabravīt // pratyupakṛddvijātestu prāṇebhyo 'pi sutaḥ priyaḥ cākāle 'pahṛto yo 'sau tava dūtena durdhiyā // prabho tribhuvanasyāpi dīyatāṃ tanayaḥ priyaḥ viśvakarman dvijanmane asmai prītyā ca dhīmate // śrutvā pretādhipo vākyaṃ pūjanīyaṃ hasan nṛpam dadau pratyuttaraṃ mṛdu tejasā pūritaṃ vacaḥ // svakīyakarmavaśād jīvāḥ sarve madvaśagā dhruvam kasyāpyākarṣaṇe tyāge svecchāśaktiḥ kuto mama // sukhaṃ vā yadi vā duḥkhaṃ sarvaṃ karmavaśaṃ sadā tasmāt rājan vijānīyān mayā naiva pragṛhyate // madgṛhaṃ pratipadyātha śarīrī na nivartate kālena mahatākṛṣṭo dvijaputro balīyasā // kuśalaṃ cākuśalaṃ vā sarvamihānubhūyate karmānusāriṇī bhūmir vijñeyā ca sadā nṛṇām // evamuktaḥ punarbhūpaḥ prāha vaivasvataṃ yamam matprārthanāvaśād deva dehyasmai putramuttamam // na śakyate na śakyate yama āha punaḥ punaḥ dehi dehi sutaṃ deva rājñāpi prārthitaḥ punaḥ // āgrahasyātiśayyaṃ ca tayoritthaṃ babhūva ha vyākulau tī mahāyuddhe tadā liptau babhūvatuḥ // tiṣṭha tiṣṭheti ta rājā bahuśaḥ prāha vīrahā sthito 'smīti raṇe rājan tamavocad nṛpaṃ yamaḥ // asaṃkhyānāṃ ca vāṇānāṃ tīkṣṇānāṃ parivarṣaṇam akarod bhayajid rājā yamasyopari sarvataḥ // śrutaghnaṃ sarvato divyaṃ meghato vārivarṣavat apratirodharupaṃ tad astraṃ vavarṣa dharmarāṭ // tena rājā mahākruddho mahāprabhāvaśālibhiḥ yamadūtāṃścadevāstraiḥ prapīḍya mumude bhṛśam // śūlāsiprāsamudgarā yamadūtavinirgatāḥ bhūpena sarvathā naṣṭā bhayapravartakā ime // preto dāruṇarupī ca pratidiśamadhāvata naṣṭaḥ senāpatiścaiva āgamadāhavād drutam // tataḥ pretādhipo devo dṛṣṭvā taṃ tu parājitam yathājñākāriṇaṃ daṇḍaṃ jagrāha pratihiṃsayā // kālāgnisadṛśaṃ dṛṣṭvā utkṣiptaṃ pṛthivīpatiḥ brahmaśiro 'ṅkita cāstram ātmahaste gṛhītavān // sarve bhūtā bhayatrastā mahābhūto 'pi sarvataḥ babhūvurāturā sarve tena durlakṣaṇena vai // duḥkhitāṃ sakalāṃ pṛthvīṃ dṛsṭvā brahmā tathā suraiḥ ājagāma svayaṃ tatra tasmin deśe raṇākule // brahmāṇaṃ svāgata dṛṣṭvā bhayajinnṛpasattamaḥ sāñjaliḥ pūjayitvā taṃ prāha yathāyathaṃ vacaḥ // yamo 'pi praṇipatyātha sarvāmakathayat kathām vaiklavyakāraṇani ca śrutvā śeṣāṇi sṛṣṭikṛt pratyāvṛtya raṇād devaḥ kathayāmāsa tau tadā // na doṣo bhavatāṃ nātha mṛtyupatermahātmanaḥ satyanarādhipasyaiva kālasya na tu karmaṇaḥ // purā śubhāśubhaṃ karma tathā ca śiśunā kṛtam labdhañca maraṇaṃ śīghra janma prāpya ca mānuṣam // sāphalyameti te śramo brāhmaṇasyāsya pūjanāt tasminnupāyavidyeyaṃ matprasādāt prapūjyatām // varṇādīnāṃ samāyogaiḥ etaddvijasutākṛtim rupamālikha bho rājan sarvalokahitāya vaṃ // āvirbhūtena brahmaṇā itthamukte suvuddhimān jīvayituṃ lilekha taṃ dvijaputraṃ mahopatiḥ brahmā taccitramādāya yojayāmāsa jīvitam // vikacotpalacakṣuṣmān sukumāraśarīradhṛk cakṣurunmīlya sānandaṃ punarjīvanamāpede // jīvitaṃ putramāsādya hṛṣṭo brāhmaṇasattamaḥ bramhāṇamabhivandyātha svīyaputraṃ gṛhitavān // brahmābravīt tato bhūpaṃ brāhmaṇaprītaye ime yamadutā jitāḥ śaktyā sādhu sādhu kṛtaṃ tvayā // brahmāṇā kathite tvevaṃ sa rājā harṣamāptavām sarvadamanakārī tu daurmanasyaṃ yamo gataḥ // aprasannaṃ yamaṃ dṛṣṭvā vacobhirmadhurairbhṛśam brahmā svayaṃ samāśvāsya bhūpatiṃ prāha sattamaḥ // dharmanītiḥ suvijñāya na nindet kāmapi prajām sadānandapradobhavyastv abhimānaṃ ca varjayet // yatra sevā satāṃ nāsti tatra nindā bhaved dhruvam nālpamapi sukhaṃ kiñcid āpnoti nindukaḥ sadā // dveṣiṇo 'pi budhāḥ svargād bhavanti vicyutāstahā ahaṅkānarayuta bhūtaṃ tyajanti sarvamānavāḥ // nirahaṅkāriṇā tasmāt bhavitavyaṃ sadā khalu jātyā balena dānena naipuṇyena ca vidyayā // devatānāñca viprāṇāṃ viśeṣaṇa samādaraḥ prakartavyo na kartavyo nindopāyaḥ kathañcana // avirodhena satkāraḥ karaṇīyaḥ sadā nṛpaiḥ kṣamāvalambanīyā syāt nindā tyājyā tathaiva ca sarvajño nirahaṃkaro guṇine na dviṣennṛpaḥ // puruṣaṃ vacanaṃ tyājyam āghātaṃ visṛjet sadā pratyakṣaṃ prāpyate yattu sārthakyaṃ tasya cintayet // devavipravirodhināṃ kutrāpi na sukhaṃ bhavet vidhiyaṃ naiva kāryaṃ hi yamasyāpi tato nṛpa // brahmaṇetthaṃ sa bhūpālo hy upadiṣṭo dvijapriyaḥ namaskṛtya yamasvārthe kṛtavān supriyaṃ tathā // yamo 'pi prītimāpanno brahmā prasannatāṃ gataḥ aśokaṃ prītimāpede jagadetañcarācaram // atha brahmā nṛpaṃ prāha nagnaṃ pretaṃ nivāraya yamadāsaiḥ sadā viśvaṃ na pātayed bhavān khalu // balena tejasā cāpi tapasemaṃ guṇaṃ nṛpāḥ anukuryurna karttavyo 'kuśala iha bhāvini // bhavān mahāyaśasvī ca karaṇīyo mayā kṣitau nivartasva kumārgebhyas tvaṃ sadā pṛthivīpate // pretaparyāyakaṃ nagnam ajaiṣīstvaṃ yato balāt mama prasādād rājendra brāhmaṇānugrahāttathā prajāpatitulaḥ pṛthvāṃ yaśasvī tvaṃ bhaviṣyasi // vedajño vrataniṣṭhaśca tapasā śuddhamānasaḥ prajāḥ pālaya niṣpāpaḥ anumatistathā mama // asya brāhmaṇaputrasya citrasya lekhanena ca tādṛśeṇa kṣitāvādi citrāviṣkārako bhava // lokānāṃ hitasādhanāt pūjanīyo bhaviṣyasi adya prabhṛti taccitra jagadvandyaṃ bhavet sadā // pāpaghnaṃ ca manohāri protisukhapradaṃ nṛṇām maṅgalaśropradāyakaṃ rakṣoghnaṃ śatrunāśanam // tavādau lekhakakhyātiḥ mameyaṃ vacanena ca citramiti prasiddhaṃ tat sarvatraiva bhaviṣyati // brahmaṇetthaṃ vacasyukte yamo vipraśca nagnajit sarve nemuśca bhaktyā taṃ brahmāṇaṃ lokapālakam // sarveṣāṃ maṅgalaṃ kṛtvā trilokeśaḥ prajāpatiḥ sarvadevagaṇaiḥ sārdhaṃ jagāma svagṛhaṃ mudā // rājātha dharmarājaṃ taṃ pūjayitvā prayantataḥ svasthānamāgato dhīmān prīṇayitvā yamaṃ tathā // athāsau brāhmaṇastuṣṭaḥ prapayau nagaraṃ drutam yasmād deśāt samāpannas tatraiva praviveśa ca // hṛṣṭo rājā samitraśca citrasaṃracanāya vai udyato 'bhūt sadaivāsau saputre prasthite dvije // sarvarūpānukūlaṃ tat mānaṃ vā kīdṛśaṃ bhavet tat praṣṭuṃ sṛṣṭikattariṃ brahmalokaṃ jagāma saḥ // kṛpayā brūhi me brahman citrasaṃlekhanakramam citrasya lakṣaṇāni me nānāvidhāni santi ca // parimāṇaṃ kimasya syāt vidhinā kīdṛśena vā utpādanīyametaddhi sāñjaliḥ pṛṣṭhavān nṛpaḥ // brahmātha prāha bhūpendraṃ śṛṇu rājan samāhitaḥ atiguhyaṃ mahad vākyaṃ paramaṃ kathayāmi te // sṛṣṭerādau samāyātā vedā yajñāśca bhūpate tataḥ prajā mayā sṛṣṭā upadiṣṭāśca tā mayā // caityānāṃ karaṇāyaiva citraṃ saṃlikhyate yataḥ vedāccitraṃ prajātaṃ vai tasmād jñeyaṃ tathaiva tat // ādau saṃlikhitatvācca citramityucyate tataḥ carācarayutā vṛkṣā jaṅgamāśca yathāsthitāḥ tathā pralikhanātteṣāṃ taccitramiti kathyate // girīṇāṃ sumeruḥ śreṣṭhaḥ aṇḍajānāṃ khagādhipaḥ yathā nareṣu bhūpendras tathā citraṃ kalāsu vai // patanti sāgare nadyaḥ samudrā ratnamāśritāḥ nakṣatraiścāśritaḥ sūryo bramhā ṝṣyāśrayo yathā tathaiva citrakarmaṇi kalāḥ sarvāḥ samāśritāḥ // himālayo yathā śreṣṭho nageṣu sakaleṣu ca gaṅgā nadiṣu śreṣṭhaiva graheṣu somabhāskarau // sameṣu vainateyaśca mahendro devavṛndake tathā śreṣṭhaṃ bhaveccitraṃ sarvāsu hi kalāsu ca // nagnajid gaccha tasmāt tvaṃ viśvakarma samīpataḥ lakṣaṇavidhimānaṃ ca tubhyaṃ sa upadekṣyati // upadeśamanusṛtya brahmaṇo bhūpatistataḥ viśvakarmasamīpe tu prasanno hyagamad drutam // dṛṣṭo 'sau viśvakarmā ca rājñā namaskṛtastathā ātithyaṃ vidhivat kṛtvā rājñe so 'dadadāsanam // rājāha viśvakarman bho brahmajñayā hyupasthitaḥ citrasya lakṣaṇaṃ karma upadiśatu me prabho // vidhirvā parimāṇaṃ vā kīdṛśaṃ vā bhavettathā upadiśatu kārtsnyena rahasyaṃ saprakārakam // evamukte narendreṇa viśvakarmā mudānvitaḥ citraśilpasya śāstraṃ tu tasmai rājñe hyupādiśat // ekāgramanasā tattu śrūyatāṃ yad madbhāṣitaṃ parimāṇaṃ tathāsthānaṃ varṇopāyau yathāyatham // pradāya sarvamīśena devena padmayoninā nirdiṣṭaṃ citralakṣaṇaṃ buddhimantaḥ kṛte śṛṇu // sarvavastusamākīrṇā ākṛtīrlakṣaṇānvitāḥ lokaśraddhāspadaṃ mahyaṃ likhitvādau hyupāharat // kena mānena śobhanāḥ sthānopāyaiśca kīdṛśaiḥ brahmaṇaḥ kṛpayā labdhāḥ sarve śilpā mayā kṛtāḥ // ākāreṇedṛśenaiva prajā mayā vinirmitāḥ devaiścitraṃ vivarddhitaṃ vividhaṃ lakṣaṇānvitam // jñeyaṃ mattastvathā rājan lakṣaṇamākṛti tathā sādṛśyaṃ veśasaundaryaṃ parimāṇaṃ kalānvitaṃ // citramīdṛśaṃ saṃlekhyaṃ yatnād buddhimatā tvayā darśanīyaṃ manuṣyebhyo vidvabhyo guṇayuktebhyaḥ citrasandarśane tāvad utsāhamatiyuktebhyaḥ // munināgāsurāṇāṃ ca pretānāṃ yakṣarakṣasām gandharvāṇāṃ ca rājendra vidhivat kakṣaṇādikam likhitvā vividhaṃ samyak tubhyaṃ mayā pradaśryate // || iti nagnajiccitralakṣaṇanirdeśe nagnajayo nāma prathamaḥ parivarttaḥ || dvitīyaḥ parivarttaḥ yathoktaṃ brahmaṇā pūrvam ācaṣṭe bhūpatiṃ tathā likhanādividhiṃ samyak citrasya parinirmito // sthāvare jaṃgame naṣṭe pralayānte ca vai purā prādurabhūt suvarṇāṇḍaṃ tamo hatvā jalāt kila // tasmādaṇḍāt prādurabhūt lokapitāmahaḥ svayam omityekākṣaraṃ tasmād vedavidyāśca kalpanā // catasraśca prajāstāsāṃ rupasaṃjñādayastadā āyuṣā sahitasyaiva brahmaṇo jātireva ca // sthānaṃ caryā ca dharmaśca nyāyaśca prābhavan tadā evaṃ kṛte sati brahmā cintayat jagato hitam // evaṃ cintayatastasya matiritthaṃ babhūva ha kathaṃ janāśca jānīyuḥ saṃjñāṃ devamahībhūjām apramādena cādaraḥ sadā teṣu kathaṃ bhavet // brahmetthaṃ cintayitvā tu viṣṇoḥ śivasya cātmanaḥ śakrasya sarvadevānāṃ parimāṇaṃ guṇaṃ tathā // savastraṃ vividhasthitam alaṃkārāstrasaṃyutaṃ manoramaṃ surupaṃ ca atyantasradṛśaṃ tathā // sasavibhaktasarvāṅgaṃ pratyaṅgaṃ ca yathāyatham miśritena ca varṇena citrākāraṃ vinirmame // vilokya tāni citrāṇi netramūlāt pramoditāḥ sādhu sādhviti saṃpūjya praśaṃśasurvidhiṃ surāḥ // ime devāḥ prasannāśca svaptākāraṃ ca lebhire adhiṣṭhānaṃ prabhāvaṃ ca kṛtavantastathā ime // prāha saptasurān brahmā astu puṇyaṃ samāśritam adya prabhṛti sarvatra yuṣmākaṃ pratimāsu ca nātra śaṅkā kṛthā naraḥ pūjayiṣyati vaḥ sadā // śūddhayā dānena vidhivat tatparāyaṇamānasaḥ manuṣyeṣu ca yo nāma bhavantaṃ pūjayiṣyati tasmai kāmasya siddhaye nairujyaṃ saṃpradāsyati // nānā prakāraduḥsvapnāt dveṣagrastebhya eva ca sarveṣā rakṣaṇa kṛtvā pāpān nāśayati dhruvam // dharmaśca sadṛśo bhāvyaḥ rakṣohānirbhaved dhruvam yaśovṛddhirbhaved viśve yuṣmākaṃ paripūjanāt // lokapūjāvyavasthāyai pratimānāṃ yathāyatham nāmādikīrtanaṃ kārya stavapūjādikaṃ tathā // pratimāṃ yāṃ pratidinaṃ puṇyātmā pūjayiṣyati tayaiva dīyate śāntis tasmai bhaktāya sarvataḥ // evaṃ vavatviti prāhur devāḥ prasannamānasāḥ svīyaveṣaiḥ svacetasā svādhiṣṭhānaṃ samāgatāḥ itthaṃ pūjābhavad viśva vāsibhiste prapūjitāḥ // parimāṇādikaṃ teṣāṃ mattaḥ śrutvā ca lakṣaṇam adya manuṣyalokeṣu pracāraya prayatnataḥ // brahmaṇaśca mayā prāptaṃ vidyottamā ca lakṣaṇam aśeṣaṃ parimāṇaṃ ca tubhyamadya pradīyate // trilokeṣu ca pūjyānāṃ sarveṣāṃ dehināṃ tathā pāpahānikaraṃ bhīter nāśakam netramodakaṃ // ādyutpannañca doṣeṇa hīnaṃ nānāśrayaṃ param vijānīhi kṣitīndra tvaṃ yaśorāśivivardhakam // || citralakṣaṇe pūjotpattirnām dvitīyaḥ parivarttaḥ || tṛtīyaḥ parivarttaḥ lokasya kāyamānaṃ māṃ svayambhūrupadiṣṭavān tat tathaiva pravakṣyāmi mānaṃ brūhi prajāsu ca // devarākṣasagandharva siddhanartakakinnarāḥ vidyādharāśca nāgendrāḥ piśācapretakāyikāḥ // ye bhavanti ca teṣāṃ vai bhūpatonāṃ tatastathā sarveṣāṃ prāṇijātānāṃ mānamidaṃ pravartate // paramāṇuśca vālāgraṃ likṣā yūko yavo 'ṅguliḥ aṣṭāṣṭaguṇavṛddhyā vai jñātavyamiti niścitam // paramāṇubhiraṣṭābhir ekaṃ vālāgramucyate vālāgrāṣṭau ca likṣā sā parimāṇajñakīrtitā aṣṭalikṣā bhaved yūkaḥ aṣṭayūkā yavaḥ smṛtaḥ // dvyaṅgulordvyaṅgulaṃ mānam aṅguliḥ syād yavāṣṭakam ardhāṅguliścaturyavā iti mānaṃ nigadyate // vistārasya yathaivārtha āyāmena prakāśitaḥ tathārohasamucchrāyau paryāyavācinau matau parimāṇānusareṇa varṇanoyāḥ kṣitau narāḥ // ucchrāyaśca tathāyāmo rājñāṃ nyagrodhavṛkṣavat vistṛtaścakravartināṃ śruyatāṃ varṇyate mayā // ucchrāyaścakravartināṃ svāṅguleḥ parimāṇataḥ aṣṭottaraśataṃ jñeyaṃ kadācinna parāṅguleḥ // cakravartimahīpānām ucchrāyaparimāṇakam sākṣāt savarṇyate cātra purvoktaṃ vistareṇa ca // mukhādīnāṃ parimāṇaṃ śruyatāmucyate mayā tribhāgena vibhaktaṃ ca samānena tathā budhaiḥ civunāsālalāṭaṃ vā caturaṅgulamānakam // āyāmo mukhabhāgasya bhaveccaturdaśāṅguliḥ urddhabhāge tvadhībhāge āyamo dvādaśāṅguliḥ āroho vadanasyātra dvādaśāṅgulimānakaḥ // ārohaścaturaṃgulam uṣṇīṣasya bhaved dhruvaṃ āyāmaśca tathaivāsya ṣaḍaṅgulasamāyutaḥ // śīrṣaṃ chatrasamākāram āyāmo dvādaśāṅgulaḥ dvātriṃśat tasya maṇdalam aṅgulīnāṃ hi mānataḥ // karṇadeśasya cāyamo dvyaṅguliparimāṇakaḥ caturaṅgalisamucchrāyo randhramardhāṅgalaṃ matam karṇārandhrasya cāroha ekāṅgulo bhaved dhruvam // samānatalavijñeyaṃ bhrupṛṣṭhakarṇayostathā akṣikoṣasya vistāraḥ karṇarandhrasamānakaḥ // karṇasya luṭikāmānaṃ niścayena na kīrtyate bhruvorucchrāya āroho dvau yavau caturaṃguliḥ // sarveṣāmeva śāntānāṃ bhruḥsyānnavaśaśāṅkavat narttane rodane krodhe cāpākārā bhavet sadā // bhaye śoke ca bhrūprāntāv unnatau kramikau smṛtau nāsākośāt samutthāya ardhalalāṭagāminau // ekāṅgulistathā madhyaḥ romakoṣasamāvṛtaḥ bhrūmadhyāt keśaparyantaṃ mānaṃ dvyardhāṅgulaṃ matam // bhrūvaḥ prabhṛti bhālāntaṃ mānaṃ syāccaturaṅgulam dvyaṅgulau hyakṣikoṣaḥ syān netramadhyaṃ tathaiva tu // cakṣuṣodvaryaṅgulāroha āyāmaścaikakāṅguliḥ tribhāgastārakā hyasya mukhamānasusammatā // cakṣuvat tārakocchrāyo nayanaṃ cāpasannibham yad bhavettasya mānaṃ syād yavatrayapramāṇakam // utpalapatranetrasya pramāṇaṃṣaḍyavaṃ smṛtam matsyodarasunetrasya mānamaṣṭayavaṃ bhavet // padmapatranibhaṃ netraṃ navayavaiḥ susaṃnitam varāṭakābhanetrasya mānaṃ daśayavaṃ bhavet // ucchrāyaśca tathāyāmo netrāṇāṃ varṇito mayā nirvikalpaṃ bhaveccakṣur yogināṃ cāpasannibhaṃ // kāmināṃ ca tathā strīṇāṃ netraṃ matsyodaraṃ bhavet sāmānyānaṃ tu karttavyam utpaladalasannibham // trastasya rudataścaiva padmapatranibhaṃ varam kruddhasya duḥkhitasyaiva varāṭakanibhaṃ sadā // utpaladalavannetraṃ raktāntaṃ kṛṣṇatārakam dīrghāgrasundaraṃ pakṣma śuvarṇaṃ saralaṃ mṛdu // gokṣīravarṇavatsnigdhaṃ prajāhitakaraṃ bhavet rājannetat vijānīyād yathā syāt netralakṣaṇam // prasannapadmavannetrāṃ nīlavalkalasundaraṃ antarākhacitaṃ kṛṣṇaṃ tārakaṃ śrīsukhapradam vilikhayet tathā dhīmān citraśāstreṣu dīkṣitaḥ // netramānamidaṃ jñeyaṃ yathāśāstramudīritam ṣaṭtriṃśaddṛṣṭiniyama lakṣaṇamagra ucyate // nāsāyāḥ punarārohaś caturaṅgulimātrakaḥ māsāgrasya samucchrāyau dvyaṅguliparimāṇakaḥ // vakratāyāḥ puṭasyāpi āyāmaḥ svāṅgulidvayam nāsārandhrāgradeśasya mānavaṃ syāccaturyavam ucchrāyaśca tathaivāsya yavadvayasamāyutaḥ // deśasturandhrayormadhye dviyavaparimāṇakaḥ ārohaḥ ṣaḍyavastasya oṣṭha ekāṅguliḥ smṛtaḥ // adharo 'rdhāṅgulistasya gojī cārdhāṅgulistathā adharoṣṭhasya cārohaś caturaṅgulimānakaḥ // oṣṭhāntau vimbavad raktau tathā cāpānukārakau alpocco mukhakoṇaḥ syāt sadāsusmitasaṃyutaḥ // ucchrāye dvyaṅgulirhanur āyāme tryaṅgulistathā kaṇṭhasya tu samucchāyaś caturaṅgulakaṃ smṛtam utkṣiptakaṇṭhamānaṃ hi jñeyametanna cānyathā // adhādhaḥ kaṇṭhadeśaya cāyamaḥ syād daśāṅguliḥ kaśo 'ṣṭāṅgulakaṃ mānaṃ tataḥ sthūlastrimānataḥ // kaṇṭhastribalibhiryuktaḥ karttavyaḥ kambuvat sadā unnataḥ pṛṣṭhabhāga syāt parimaṇḍalasaṃyutaḥ // pañcāṅgulaṃ tu gaṇḍodhvaṃ adhaḥ syāt caturaṅgulam civukasya tathā mānaṃ caturaṅgulakaṃ matam // āyāmo mukhagāgasya tathauṣṭhasya vivarṇitaḥ caturasraṃ mukhaṃ pūrṇaṃ prasannaṃ cārulakṣaṇam // trikoṇā kuṭilā vṛttā naiva kāryā mukhākṛtiḥ krodhayuk roṣayuk caiva na mukhaṃ syāt kadācana // īdṛśairlakṣaṇairyuktaṃ mukhaṃ vilikhayed yadi susampanno bhaviṣyati nara iha ca sarvadā // śāntikāmi mukhaṃ yat syād dīrghaṃ khartaṃ ca vartulam trikoṇaṃ vā prajānāñca sāmānyānāṃ bhaviṣyati // taditarañca yad bhavet pūrvalakṣaṇasaṃyutaṃ tad vijñeyaṃ ca devānāṃ mukhasya mānamīdṛśam // ata ūdhrvaṃ pravakṣyāmi kāyamāna vicārataḥ avikṣiptena gṛhyatāṃ manasā ca mahipate // yat sthānaṃ kaṭideśasya udarasya tathāntarā jñeyaṃ tad dvyaṅgulaṃ nūnaṃ skandhāyāmaḥ ṣaḍaṅgulaḥ daighrye tvaṣṭāṅgulo jñeyo vakṣastu dviguṇaṃ smṛtam // ārohaḥ syāttu meṭrasya ṣaḍaṅgulapramāṇakaḥ aṣṭādaśāṅgulā śroṇī ārohe kathitā budhaiḥ // jatruto hṛdayaṃ yāvan na kuṭilaḥ pradeśakaḥ hṛdayān nābhirandhrakaḥ bandhuraḥ syānna saṃśayaḥ nābhito meṭraparyantaṃ samānaṃ ca bhaved dhruvam // caturdaśāṅgulaṃ kaṭyā nābherardhāṅgulaṃ matam mānaṃ ca dahiṇāvarttaṃ yavaikaṃ cucukaṃ smṛtam // maṇḍalo dvayaṅgulo vāsaḥ punardeyaṃ cucūkayoḥ bandhanaṃ ca pradātavyaṃ kaṭideśasya śobhanam kaṭideśastathā nābher adhastāccaturaṅguliḥ // āyāme dvyaṅgulaṃ meḍhraṃ vāsteyastu ṣaḍaṅgulaḥ bṛṣaṇau nātilambau hi sthūlatve saptakāṅgulau parivṛtiḥ samānaiva ucchrāye caturaṅgulau // medaṃ ṣaḍaṅgulaṃ proktam antaraṃ svodarānnanu ṣaḍaṅgulaṃ bhavet mānaṃ lakṣaṇajñairudāhṛtam // āyāmo jaṅghayoḥ kāryaḥ pañcaviṃśatiraṅgulaḥ ūrvorgulphayoścaiva mānaṃ syāccaturaṅgulam // prāntadvayaṃ ca jaṅghāyā vikhyātaṃ citrakarmaṇi gulphalagnapradeśasya āyāmaścaturaṅgulaḥ tathaiva madhyadeśī hi āroheṇa ṣaḍaṅguliḥ // ñyaṅgulaṃ jānubhāgasya āyāme na tathārohe jaṅghādvayasya tasyordhaṃ mānamaṣṭāṅgulaṃ matam jaṅghayoḥ sthūlatāmānaṃ bhaved dvādaśakāṅgulam // jaṅghāgramunnataṃ kuryāt puṣṭamasina saṃyutam mṛdu karikarākāraṃ na kāryaṃ viṣamaṃ kvacit // gulphādeśastathā nāṛī pragacchannaiva dṛṣṭitām jaṅghāyāḥ paścimo bhāgaḥ suvṛtto 'lponnatau bhavet // ucchrāyeṇa tu pārṣṇīnāṃ mānaṃ pañcāṅgulaṃ matam āyāmastryaṅgula proktaḥ pādau caturdaśāṅgulau // caturaṅguliko 'ṅguṣṭo raktaṃ pādatalaṃ smṛtam raktapadmāgrasādṛśyaṃ lākṣārasasamāyutam // cakrādilakṣaṇairyuktaṃ parasparasamīpagam pādasya bandhanaṃ syāttu dvyuṅgulaṃ bhūpadeśagam // cakravartimahīpasya haṃsavaccaraṇau matau bhūsparśau jālavṛddhau ca aṣṭāṅgulipramāṇakau // kūrmapṛṣṭasamākārau sundaracinhasaṃyutau pañcāṅgulisamāyāmau darśane sumanoharau // kaniṣṭikāttayārohaḥ ṣaḍaṅgulisusaṃyataḥ aṅguṣṭasya tathāyāmo dvyaṅgulaḥ sādhuniścitaḥ parivṛtiḥ ṣaḍaṅguliḥ ārohe caturaṅguliḥ // agre samunnatā kāryā dīrghā aṅgulayastathā aṅguṣṭhāpekṣayā sthūlā ārohe tryaṅgulā matāḥ // ekaikāṅgulito nyūnāḥ sarvāḥ syuḥ kramikāgatāḥ kaniṣṭhikāsamucchrāya parivṛttirdviraṅguliḥ // aṅgulīnāṃ tu jālāśca sannaddhāḥ sundarāstathā nāḍyaviṣamasaṃpuṣṭā asthi cādarśanaṃ gatam // nakhāścārdhaśaśāṅkavat raktimāḥ snigdhavarṇakāḥ sinduraliptasarvāṅgāḥ pradiptāgniśikhā yathā // candrakāntasamujjvalās tathā suspaṣṭasaṃyutāḥ avraṇā mṛdavaḥ pūrṇāḥ yavamānena pūritāḥ // aṅgulistu tribhāgaḥ syāt spaṣṭā vṛddhāṅgulistathā tasyāḥ pārśvāṅgulermadhye sthānamardhāṅgulaṃ matam // gulphādeśādadhobhāgaś caraṇamitisaṃjñitam taccaraṇasamucchrāyaḥ caturaṅgulako mataḥ itthaṃ caraṇamānaṃ syān mayā proktaṃ sucintitam // hastasya lakṣaṇānyatra śruyantāṃ kathayāmyaham talaṃ saptāṅgulaṃ dīrghaṃ vistāraḥ pañcakāṅguliḥ // madhyāṅguleḥ samucchrāyaḥ pañcāṅgulaṃ prakīrtitam tarjanyā nyūnatā bodhyā parvārdhena susaṃmatā // anāmikāṅgulīmānaṃ tadvadeva bhaved dhruvam kaniṣṭhikāpyadīrghā syāt pārśvāṅgulikramādanu // aṅguṣṭhasya sadorahoś caturaṅgulako mataḥ aṅguṣṭhe dve tu parvaṇī samenaika yavo bhavet // tasyādho māṃsapiṇḍaśca tryaṅgulisammito bhavet aṅguṣṭhasya pramāṇaṃ tu navayavakasammatam āyāmo 'ṣṭayavaḥ kārya ārohastu yavā nava // aṅguṣṭhāttu caturbhāgā naddhā jālakramādanu nakhā raktāstathā svacchāḥ śuktivaccārutānvitā // aṅguṣṭhapārśvamāṃsaṃ tvā yāme aṅgulakaṃ matam aṅguṣṭhāntaṃ tu karabhāt saptāṅgulamānakam // āyāmaśca tathārohaḥ kramādaṅguṣṭhayormithaḥ yathāśāstramupanyastaḥ śubhaṃ kāryaṃ vicārayan // parvārdhena mitāḥ kāryā nakhāḥ sūkṣmāṃ nakhāgrakāḥ sṛṣyante ca yavādṛśaḥ parvatarekhā tvadoṣabhāk // parvaṃ dīrghaṃ ca vṛtaṃ ca karatalasuśobhanam talau padmasamau raktau karasyaivaṃ vidhānataḥ // akuṭilamavakraṃ ca gambhīraṃ sūkṣmakaṃ tathā rekhātrayaṃ kare proktaṃ raktavarṇaṃ suśobhanam // śrīvatsacakracihnasva stilakṣaṇa samanvitam kārpāsasparśakomalaṃ kṣaumasūtramanoharam sukhadaṃ cāru susparśaṃ kuryāt karatalaṃ śubham // samantān māṃsapūrṇaṃ vai nāṛī dṛśyā kadāpi na hastapṛṣṭhaṃ sadā snigdham unnataṃ ca bhaved dhruvam sūkṣmā aṅgulijālā hi sundaraṃ ca tanustathā // utpalābhaḥ sadā rakto nāgendrābhogasannibhaḥ nakhodarastanuḥ snigdha unnataḥ karaśobhakaḥ // ārohāyāmamānaṃ tu hastasya gaditaṃ mayā bāhūnāṃ mānamārohaṃ dhīman śṛṇu vadāni te // ubhayostu tathā bāhvīr mānaṃ kuryād yathāvidhi ṣaṭtriśakaṃ pramāṇaṃ vai aṅgulīnāṃ vidhānataḥ aṣṭādaśa prabāhośca bāhoścāpi tathaiva ca // skandhāgrasya bhaven mānaṃ ṣaḍaṅgulisusammatam āyāmo bāhubhāgasya jñeyaṃ pañcāṅgulaṃ sadā // aṅgulirmaṇibandhaḥ syāt pravāhū caturaṅgulī viśālo varttulākāraḥ suspaṣṭoraṃśo bhavet punaḥ // āroho bhujayoryastu bhavedaṣṭādaśāṅguliḥ ākarādaṣṭacatvāriśat nāṛiparva tvadṛśyakam // hastau na jānuparyantau dīrdhau sūkṣrmau ca sundarau samantān māṃsapūrṇau ca bhavetāmānapūrṇyataḥ // gopucchāgrasamau tāvat krameṇoccāvacau punaḥ bāhū daṇḍāyamānasya jānuparyantagāminau // tasmād rājendra hastena jānuprāpta udīryate bāhuprabāhumānāni āyāmārohaḥ kīrttitaḥ // punaragre pravakṣyāmi lakṣaṇāni śubhāni vai yāni purvaṃ na coktāni tāni tubhyaṃ vadāmyaham // keśānāṃ prāntabhāgāttu sthānaṃ kaṭyāsthivistṛtam parimāṇaṃ ṣaḍaṅgulaṃ jñeyaṃ sadā mahīpate skandhasthalasya mānaṃ hi ṣoṛaśāṅgulisammitam // ārohastasya madhyasya daśāṅgulaṃ bhaved dhruvam āyāme cāṅgulīnāṃ hī saṃkhyā yāyād navānvitā // skandhadeśasya madhyāṃśa ārohāyāmaśobhitaḥ pṛṣṭhamadhyaḥ ṣaḍaṅgulir urdhve tu viṃśatirmatā // madhyasya dvayaṅgulāyāmaḥ pṛṣṭhaṃ bhāgena sundaram puruṣāṇāmidaṃ mānaṃ strīṇāṃ bhāgaḥ sa eva hi māṃsapeśyalpasaṃyutaḥ sarvaśarīraśobhanaḥ // nitambapārśvamānaṃ syāt ṣaḍaṅgulisamanvitam caturasraṃ ca vijñeyaṃ maṇḍalānvitanimnagam // sthānāt tasmāt samārabhya śroṇīsīmāsamīpagam caturaṅgulaṃ sthānaṃ syāt pāyustu dvyuṅgulaṃ matam // nitambadeśa ārohe cāṣṭāṅgulisamanvitaḥ nātisaṃkocamāpanna āyāmaḥ saptakāṅguliḥ cārumaṇḍalayuktaśca nātiprasārito bhavet // ārohāyāmayoḥ sarvaṃ lakṣaṇaṃ śāstrasammatam nirdiṣṭaṃ cāvabodhārthaṃ punaratra pravakṣyate avikṣiptena cittena gṛhyatāṃ lokahetave // dantaśirasya lobhānāṃ vyavasthā kramaśo yathā varṇasya lakṣaṇaṃ caiva devamukhe na dīyate // sugrathitāḥ samādantāḥ snigdhavarṇāḥ sutīkṣṇakāḥ dadhimuktābjavacchuklāḥ svacchāḥ śvetā himā iva // catvāriśacchubhā dantāḥ śvadantaiśca suśobhitāḥ ārohe triyavā jñeyā āyāme yavayugmakāḥ // dantamūlaṃ tathā tālu jihvāsīmā ca lohitam jātīkusumasaṃkāśaṃ śvadantābhaṃ suśobhanaṃ // śvadantānāṃ yavārdhena vṛddhiḥ kāryā vicārayan tīkṣṇāgraparimaṇḍalaṃ mṛdu mṛṇālatantuvat // padmapatrapratīkāśaḥ komalaśca sulakṣaṇaḥ sthirataḍīnnibho jihvād eśaḥ spaṣṭaśca raktimaḥ navārdhaparṇavaccāruḥ mukhe vai vitato bhavet // airāvatasya vṛṃhatī hayarājasya nādavat megharavasya gambhīrā vāṇī proktā sulakṣaṇā // jālarekhānibhā keśāḥ śiro 'laṃkaraṇaṃ gatāḥ indranīlasabhāḥ kṛṣṇā bhramarāñjanasannibhāḥ // mayūrakaṇṭharomābhāḥ kokilābhāḥ śiroruhāḥ nīlā dedīpyamānāśca pṛṣṭamūlasamāgatāḥ // sundarā dakṣiṇāvarttāḥ keśariṇaḥ saṭāprabhāḥ jālarekhāṅkitāḥ koṇāḥ keśacūṛā manoharāḥ // bāhumūlopajaṅghāsu nāsākarṇamukheṣu ca jaṅghāsu kaṇṭhagaṇḍeṣu keśā na syurmahātmanām // mṛdusūkṣmaistathā snigdhair jālarekhaiḥ suśobhanaiḥ keśānāṃ parimaṇḍalair nīlāñjanasamaprabhaiḥ vakṣasthalaṃ nṛpāṇāṃ ca śobhitaṃ syāt sulakṣaṇam // devabhūtamanuṣyāṇāṃ mukhe śmaśru na roma ca // eteṣāṃ devadehastu romabhiḥ parivarjitaḥ ṣoṛaśavarṣapūrakaṃ śarīraṃ taddhi kathyate // surāṇāṃ keśajālaṃ tu sūkṣmalateva saṃgatam nīlaṃ cakṣurmanogrāhi sarvasattvasukhapradam // jambunadasamāhṛta taptakāñcanavarṇakaḥ dediṣyate ca deho 'sya pātacampakapuṣpavat // kamaladalakoṣasya prākāra iva tṛptidaḥ uttamaḥ puruṣo jñeyaḥ lakṣmaṇaṃ cakravarttinaḥ // gajarājagatiryasya vṛṣarājapadonnatiḥ mṛgarājagatisthairyaṃ lakṣmaṇaṃ cakravarttinaḥ // gajavat sabalau pādau vṛṣavadānanaṃ kharam vadanaṃ siṃhavad rāja haṃsatejaḥ samāyutaḥ // veśadṛśāṃ gatiṃ cātha atikramya ca sarveṣām dṛśyavannāṭakasyeva bhūtānāṃ śikṣako yathā gatirasya bhavedrājan sarveṣāṃ ca manoramā // sugandhastvak kṛśaḥ snigdhī darpaṇasparśakomalaḥ dhūlimalena nirliptaḥ lakṣaṇaṃ cakravarttinaḥ // pradīptamaṇisaṃkāśaḥ śvetavastrasuśobhitaḥ samantāt kiraṇāvṛtaḥ rājā lekhyaḥ kṛśaḥ sadā // nirmedhaśaśiccāru prabhāmaṇḍalamaṇḍitam śarīraṃ yasya rājendra lakṣaṇaṃ cakravarttinaḥ // mukhaṃ candradṛśaṃ śvetaṃ sugnigdhaścāparaḥ śaśī dharāpṛṣṭe samāyāta itthaṃ mādhuryamaṇḍitaḥ bhrūvoḥ kaṇṭhasya bhālasya saundaryaṃ hi mukhasya ca // ākuñcitamṛdusnigdha cārukeśaḥ sunāsikaḥ cārvoṣṭaṃ raktimāpūrṇaṃ svacchā dantā nabho yathā // dīrdhottama ca pakṣma hi snigdhavarṇaṃ bhavettathā nīlaṃ kṛṣṇaṃ ca dīrghaṃ ca cakṣuḥ syāt sumanoharam bhrūvau dīptau sadā jñeyau netrānandavidhāyakau // phullāravindakoṣasya karṇayorākṛtiḥ samā īṣadromau manoharau śarīrāṅgavibhūṣaṇau // karṇayorluṭike tasya kramike śaṅkhasannibhau baddhaskandhau supūrṇāṃśau śobhanamaṅgamaṇḍalam // māṃsapurṇaṃ bhaved vakṣaḥ tasyāroho yathākraman āyāmaśca yathāyathaṃ cānupūrvyeṇa saṃgatā // siṃhodaravad vijñeyā kaṭirāvartitā bhavet dakṣiṇāvartino nābhiḥ gabhīrā syād yathāyatham // airāvatasamānau hi liṅgakoṣaśca sundaraḥ samantāt maṇḍalākāraḥ ābhādṛśyā bhaved dhruvam // gajaśuṇḍasamā jaṅghā anukrameṇa vistṛtā mukheṣu connatā jñeyā gulpho 'dṛśpo bhavet tathā // subaddhāṅgulisundarau kūrmavat māṃsalau tathā ardhacandraprabhāyuktā -ṅgulicakrapadāṅkitau pādapṛṣṭomṛdū syātāṃ komalau haritau smṛtau // vṛṣapucchānupūrviyau dīrghāṅguliyutau karau nakhaprabhāsamujjvalau prasāre dīrghakau yathā parimaṇḍalasampannau cakrarekhāsvalaṅkṛtau // campakadāmaśobhitaḥ marālagātasaṃyutaḥ susaṃsthānasamāpannaḥ sarvāṅgeṇa manoharaḥ // tejasvī vīryavān rājan cakravarttī sadā bhavet āyāmārohamānaṃ ca lakṣaṇaṃ tadudāhṛtam // dehe jaṅghopajaṅghā ca bhṛśaṃ vikaśitā bhavet suhastau caraṇau syātāṃ tathā parva ca dṛśyate // kukṣipṛṣṭe suśobhite mukhaṃ cāru manoharam śobhitau ca bhujau syātāṃ deho mānānvito bhavet // aṅgāni māṃsapūrṇāni śarīraṃ snigdhavarṇakam priyaudāryaguṇā yatra rājahaṃsagatistathā cārudeho mahīpateḥ cakravartī sa ucyate // prasiddhaiḥ śilpibhiḥ kāryaṃ mānavāṅgeṣu yatnataḥ śīrṣakaṣṭabhujadvandaṃ jaṅkhopajaṅkhasundaram // upayukteṣu sarveṣu parimāṇaṃ tu yatra ca tatra svāṅgulinā kāryaṃ mānaṃ sarvatra karmaṇi // ārohāyāmapīnatve pratyaṅgaṃ samatāṃ bhajet vidhinā parimāṇena sammpannaṃ śobhitaṃ bhavet // atī jñeyañca paṇḍitaiḥ parimāṇaṃ suyatnataḥ parimāṇapratiṣṭāno -pāyādibhirvihīnā yā pratimā sā parityaktā suradevaiḥ sadā khalu // piśācā rākṣasā bhūtā vasanti tvarita tathā śobhitān nāśayanti ca amaṅgalaṃ bhayaṃ bhavet // ārohāyāmayoḥ rājan lakṣaṇaṃ kathitaṃ mayā yathecchaṃ vai vibhaktavyaṃ caturbhāgena mukhyataḥ // valiḥ sūryo dāśarathiḥ rāmo manusutastathā parimāṇānusāreṇa kāryo bhinno vīcakṣaṇaiḥ // bhadrau dvayaṅgulinā nyūno mālavyaścaturaṅguliḥ rucako 'ṣṭāṅgulinyūnaḥ śaśakaśca daśāṅguliḥ // apriyo na yathā yāyāt tathā mānaṃ vicārayet kiṃ bhavet parimāṇena śarīraṃ cedasundaram // caturṇāṃ ca tathā rājñāṃ parimāṇasya lakṣaṇam brahmaṇā tu pradarśitaṃ vistaraṃ bravīmi te // sarvasya lekhane granthe vistāro bhavati dhruvam tena trasyanti cālpajñā aśrutikāraṇān nanu // nārīpuruṣayoḥ satsu lakṣaṇeṣu prajāpatiḥ dvādaśeṣu sahasreṣu pañcaśa upadiṣṭavān // naralakṣaṇayukteṣu tathānirdiṣṭapañcadhā tubhyaṃ pradarśayāmi ced gacched grantho viśālatām // cakravarttinarendrasya lakṣaṇaṃ kathitaṃ mayā vidhivat parimāṇañca anyapradarśanena kim uttamapuruṣādīnāṃ tena mānaṃ dhruvaṃ bhavet // ato buddhayā suniścitya bhadro lekhyo vicārayan sa ca bhavet samucchrāye ṣaḍuttaraśatāṅgulam // rucakasya samucchrāyaḥ śatasaṃkhyānvito bhavet mālavasya tathocchrāyaś catuḥśatamitāṅgulam // śaśakasya samucchrāye saṃkhyāṣṭanavatiḥ sadā aṅgulīnāṃ vidhātavyā citraśāstraviśāradaiḥ // ato 'nyomānaniyamo na bhūto na bhaviṣyati uttamādhamamadhyama pradhānānāñca bhūbhṛtām ārohāthāmamānaṃ tu ālocyātra pradarśinam // ucchrāyo navarat strīṇā jñeya ekāṅguliḥ kṛśaḥ ekāṅgulistathā rājñā puṣṭirjñeyā mahāmate // nābhijaṅkhopajaṅkhānāṃ laṭikaṇṭhopajānunām śīrṣadeśasya vakṣasas tathā caraṇayornṛpa āroho nāpriyo yāyāt tathā mānaṃ vidhīyatām // uttamamadhyamādhama mānaṃ tu kramikaṃ matam ārohaśca tathāyāmaḥ teṣāmatra pradarśitaḥ nārīṇāṃ parimāṇaṃ ca sarvaṃ śṛṇu krameṇa hi // rājñāṃ yathā pradarśitaṃ mānena ca tathāyutam samyag vicārya śemuṣyā bahusthānapratiṣṭhitam // samadvibhāgasampannaṃ niṣkuṭilaṃ sukomalam lekhyaṃ citramaninditaṃ netraprītivivarddhanaṃ // iti citralakṣaṇe parimāṇo nāmstṛtīyaḥ parivartaḥ | yāvat brahmaṇaḥ parimāṇalekhayaḥ samāptaḥ |
