<idiom:comment>In a wide depression in the ground in the row of stelae, four metres east of stela F, lies a large fragment. Due to its shape and the preserved depiction of figures, it can be identified as the shaft of a sculpted stela. The depression in the ground is located where Stele K was once erected and is the result of archaeological investigations of the stele shaft and the sacrificial deposit. How and when the sculpture fragment arrived at this site is not clear from the various reports. Morley writes that many monuments were uprooted from their original sites and placed elsewhere on the stela plaza as part of the archaeological survey of Pusilha by British archaeologists (Morley 1937-1938, IV:24). The original locations of fragments were documented only inaccurately or not at all. It can be assumed that the present fragment was also moved to its present location as part of these relocations.
