Fragments 1, 2, and 4 have been in the British Museum since 1929 (Joyce 1929:452; Morley 1937-1938, IV:37). According to Berthold Riese, the restored stele stood in a corridor in the basement of the British Museum in 1971; later it was on display at the Museum of Mankind (1973) (Riese 1982c:4). Fragment 3, according to Morley, was moved to the British Museum as early as 1928 (Morley 1937-1938, IV:37); its current location is unknown. Fragment 4 was rediscovered by Berthold Riese in 1971 (Riese 1982c:37); however, its current location is unknown. The composite stele consisting of fragments 1 and 2 is now in Franks House (personal visits in 1996 and 2000). The detached, unsculptured stela base was found in May 2001 as part of the PUSAP archaeological project in May 2001 and inventoried as fragment 65. IV:37 Morley, Sylvanus G.
