<dc:description>The back side with the hieroglyphic text was completely separated from the fragments and has been in London since 1928 and 1929. Fragments A and D arrived in London as early as 1928, and fragments B,C and E reached the British Museum a year later (Joyce et al. 1929:452; Morley 1937-1938, IV:56-57). In London the front was reconstructed, the top fragment (A) was not inserted and remains untraced (Riese 1982c:5). In 1971 the stele was in Basement B 102 of the British Museum (Riese 1982c:5). It is currently stored at Franks House in London (personal visits 1996 and 2000). Fragments of the front of the monument are still in situ today. Fragment C, containing the torso of a standing figure, lies immediately south of the base, which is set vertically in the ground (Fragments D and E). The base of the stela (Morley 1937-1938, IV:59), which was previously undocumented in situ, shows the foot part of the standing figure and the bodies of two seated persons on its front.
